FAQs
1. Why are you called ‘Network’ Vineyard?
[An unofficial answer]
The ‘Network’ name brings out the idea that our church brings together people from a lot of different communities and ministries into one body. It also shows that although we meet in Swanbourne at the moment, our reach is bigger than that suburb.
2. What are Vineyard churches?
The Vineyard is a non-denominational Christian movement which was birthed during the Jesus Movement of the 70’s in California.
Australia is home to around 35 of the over 1000 churches worldwide that make up the Association of Vineyard Churches (AVC). The Association of Vineyard Churches Australia maintains a website which is a good source for people seeking more information about the Vineyard in Australia.
The Vineyard is characterized by a casual, non-hyped, non-religious atmosphere. Casual dress, informal seating, coffee breaks, contemporary music and instruments are just a few of the things we hope make our service an inviting and relevant place to be.
The Vineyard movement highly values solid biblical teaching with the power and ministry of the Holy Spirit being equally important.

Now, to the extent that the tastes of individuals are modifiable by those individuals, it may well be that individuals are, to that extent, accountable for their tastes. ,
