Book sale at Vose Seminary
My day job is as librarian at Vose Seminary. One of the most important days on our calendar is the annual booksale. It’s happening on Saturday 4 April and Vineyard people as well as other readers of the blog should come along. There are 20 000 books for sale as well as devonshire tea and a sausage sizzle.
As well as being the biggest secondhand Christian booksale in Perth, there is a huge range of general fiction and non-fiction, including children’s books, craft, cooking and and magazines as well as CDs and DVDs.
The sale runs from 9am – 2pm on Saturday 4 April at the seminary, 20 Hayman Rd, Bentley. The leftover books will remain on sale for three weeks until Friday 24 April. Proceeds from the sale help Vose Seminary, formerly known as the Baptist Theological College. The seminary has been training pastors, chaplains and church leaders since 1963.
